HOMESTAY RULES AND REGULATIONS (Wambuliga HomeStay)
1. Check-In and Check-Out Times
1.1. Guests must check in at the homestay between 14:00 - 21:00 local time.
1.2. Check-out must be completed before 12:00 on the day of departure.
2. Use of Rooms and Facilities
2.1. Guests are required to maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the rooms and homestay facilities.
2.2. Any damage caused due to guest negligence will be the responsibility of the guest and may incur repair costs.
2.3. Guests are not allowed to bring items that could damage homestay facilities.
2.4. Refillable soap and shampoo (bath amenities) are not to be taken home and must remain in the bathroom.
3. Order and Safety
3.1. Guests are strictly prohibited from bringing, storing, or using illegal items such as narcotics or sharp weapons inside the homestay.
3.2. Guests must maintain peace and avoid disturbing other guests.
3.3. Guests are not allowed to receive visitors inside the homestay after 22:00.
4. Use of Kitchen and Cooking Equipment
4.1. The kitchen and cooking equipment may be used by guests with permission from the homestay owner.
4.2. Guests are required to clean all cooking equipment and kitchen area after use.
5. Smoking and Alcohol Consumption
5.1. Smoking is prohibited in all areas within the homestay.
5.2. Alcohol consumption is only allowed in designated areas with the homestay owner’s permission.
6. Payment and Cancellation
6.1. Payment must be made at check-in or as per agreement.
6.2. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid cancellation fees.
7. Special Events and Activities
7.1. Any event involving a crowd must have prior approval from the homestay owner.
7.2. Events or activities must not disturb other guests and must end before 22:00.
8. Guest Rights and Responsibilities
8.1. Guests are entitled to good service and appropriate facilities as agreed.
8.2. Guests must comply with all applicable homestay rules.
9. Sanctions
9.1. Violations of these rules may result in fines, eviction, or reporting to authorities depending on the severity.
10. Others
10.1. These rules may be updated at any time in accordance with the homestay owner’s policies and will be communicated to guests.
10.2. Outdoor sandals or shoes are not allowed to be used inside the house. Outdoor sandals or shoes must be stored on the terrace.
